Disney Lorcana TCG Store Program Update
Until now, the Disney Lorcana TCG store program operated on a tiered scale, which was updated with each new set and took into account both purchase volume and commitment to organized play. These tiers determined access to kits, promotional materials and event support.
With the arrival of Winterspell, this system evolves.
A new approach: fewer barriers, more community
Starting with Winterspell, store levels are eliminated at the global level.
This change responds to a clear desire: to put the focus on real activity and community building, and not only on purchase volume.
The new model is based on criteria that are much more accessible and aligned with the reality of the stores:
- To be part of the program it will be necessary to make a minimum purchase of 1 box for each set in progress.
- To be considered an active store, it is necessary:
- Organize and report at least 4 events per month, including set presentation.
- All official Disney Lorcana TCG stores can organize a Championship event, without depending on a previous level.
- The correct reporting of events in the corresponding platform becomes the key element to maintain access to the program and its benefits.
What remains from the previous model?
Although the level scale disappears, many of the pillars of the previous system remain in place:
- Access to OP Kits to support organized play.
- Possibility of organizing presentations, weekly events and Championships.
- Access to promotional material and marketing resources to give visibility to the game in store.
- Option of official support at external fairs and events, after consultation and coordination.
- A clear focus on rewarding perseverance, involvement and work with the community, which were already fundamental elements at the highest levels.
A more inclusive and sustainable program
This new model seeks to recognize stores that activate tables, create community and generate gaming experience, regardless of their size. The priority is no longer how much you buy, but what happens in your store week after week.
However, it is essential to maintain a minimum purchase of 1 box for each set in progress in order to guarantee product availability and the correct execution of the actions related to the launch and the organized game.
