Get your players ready to fight dragons with more dragons! Here’s everything you need to know to schedule your Tarkir: Draconic Storm game season today.
New in Tarkir draconic storm
As in previous collections with factions, such as Ravnica and New Capenna, the Presentation of Tarkir: Draconic Storm will include five different Presentation Packs, one for each of the five dragon clans of Tarkir.
You choose how you want to distribute them among the players. You can allow players to choose them in order of registration (this is a good way to encourage pre-registration) or randomize them on the day of the event, with the option of allowing players to exchange them before the event starts. It is common to do both in several events: allow players to choose them in your first events Submission and randomize them in later events to use up the remaining inventory.
Magic Presents: Spring Blossoming
Magic Presents returns this spring with a series of Booster Draft events taking place during the Tarkir: Draconic Storm season. During the event, players start each game with a special emblem that provides them with a play bonus based on the card Rites of Blossom. Players can participate in multiple events and get one of seven promotional cards each time. The promotional cards for this event are a set of Magic-themed versions of cards from the Secret Lair of Honor Among Thieves, a 2023 limited release that included mechanically unique (so far) cards designed from the hit Dungeons & Dragons movie.
Organize events of Tarkir: Draconic Storm and win a box of dungeon keepers
The Wizards Play Network team and Gatherers’ Tavern are collaborating on a unique promotion that will only be available in the EMEA region. If a store hosts and reports at least one Tarkir: Draconic Storm Prerelease event and one Tarkir: Draconic Storm Magic Academy event, they will be sent an exclusive Planeswalker Ugin-themed deck box. If you organize and report the events, you will receive the deck box shortly after the end of the Tarkir: Draconic Storm season. You can use the box as you see fit, but it is recommended that you give it as the first prize for one of your events.
The deadline for this promotion is May 5, 2025. To participate, report at least one Tarkir: Draconic Storm submission event and at least one Magic Academy event from the same collection before May 5. Schedule both events now!
