New in Magic: The Gathering – FINAL FANTASY
Starting in 2025, new Beyond the Multiverse collections will be legal in all Constructed formats, including Standard. You can check out the full announcement at DailyMTG. This is a change that was already planned, so all products have been developed with this in mind.
While the core content of these collections will be legal in all formats, they will contain products (such as Commander decks) and cards (such as Special Guests) that will not be part of the core collections and will be legal in Eternal (only in Commander, Legacy and Vintage for new Commander and Jumpstart content) or as long as the cards are otherwise legal (such as reprints).
Don’t miss the Chocobo Race series of events.
The Chocobo Race events will be a Booster Draft and Closed Deck initiative based on the FINAL FANTASY VII mini-game of the same name. Each time players participate in Draft or Closed Deck events with Magic: The Gathering-FINAL FANTASY in your store, they will earn points towards special rewards from this event.
Participants will receive cumulative points for each new event they play to get closer to the rewards, plus they can play drafts as much as they want and even bring their friends and family!
